Terms of Service

The contract that governs your use of CourierSet.

Last updated: 2026-08-28

1. Scope

These Terms govern the contract between MATTALNET GRUPP OÜ (registry code 14744075, Tallinn, Estonia), which operates CourierSet, and the user of our website and apps. By creating an account or completing a booking you accept these Terms in full.

2. The service

CourierSet operates a marketplace that puts senders in touch with independent couriers (drivers). We do not perform the deliveries ourselves; the carriage contract is concluded directly between sender and driver. CourierSet is responsible for:

  • running the matching platform,
  • showing you a binding price before you book,
  • providing customer support and dispute resolution.

3. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secret. We may suspend accounts for fraud, breach of these Terms or applicable law.

4. Pricing & payment

How payment works today:

  • The price shown before you confirm a booking is binding — it's what the delivery costs.
  • CourierSet does not yet collect or process payment for the delivery itself; payment is arranged directly between you and the driver.
  • In-app payment — card and cash on delivery — is planned for a future release.

5. Cancellations

Customers may cancel an order free of charge at any time before pickup. CourierSet does not currently charge a cancellation fee; a fee for late cancellations is planned for a future release. Once a driver has picked up the shipment, the order can no longer be cancelled.

6. Liability

CourierSet operates the marketplace; liability for loss of or damage to your shipment rests with the driver who carries it, not with CourierSet. Every driver posts a refundable deposit before they can accept orders, which stands behind that liability. At booking, you can add CourierSet's optional delivery guarantee for a fee — if you do, CourierSet is liable instead of the driver, up to the coverage amount shown at booking. Outside what the driver's deposit or an active guarantee covers, our liability is limited to damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Estonian law. Where you are a consumer resident in the EU, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Place of jurisdiction is Tallinn, Estonia, to the extent legally permissible.
